SuperBowl Mound / SuperBowl City / Cydonia / Mars

The SuperBowl Mound is part of an enigmatic group of mounds to the north of the “Face”, D&M Pyramid and the Cydonia City mounds covered in Richard C. Hoagland’s book “The Monuments of Mars”. It is an excellent candidate to be the ruins of an artificial arcology. Arcologies are massive (self contained) habitations that can house substantial populations – a town or city contained in a single building. Of great interest is that the sides of this mound are visibly crumbling inwards, creating hollows and fissures. This tendency towards implosion gives credibility that the mound contains much internal (and possibly) artificial space. The SuperBowl Mound is about a mile across.
