Image of the Day - 17(a)
NASA's “Fossil Femur” Revisited / Curiosity Rover / Gale Crater / Mars
Following on from yesterday's "image of the day", today's image shows Keith Laney's comparison of NASA's "fossil Femur" with a sun bleached kangeroo femur. The orange coloured text is Laney's personal commentary questioning why NASA made such a fuss about this possible fossil. (Readers are advised to use the zoom option on their device if the text is too small to read). Yesterday's analysis of this and other possible Martian fossils can be revisited by clicking this "stargate" "stargate" µµµ
As always with these outsized images the reader is advised to use the "View" then "Full Screen" options from the menu bar at the top of their browser screens to see more of the image clearly.
Alternatively, press the F11 key to enter the Full Screen mode, and then F11 again to return to the normal view.
